Evaluation

After finishing my animation late last night i am really happy with the outcome of it making all the hours spent on it worth while, i think the style of it looking like someone is playing a game on a DS is unique and sets it apart from any other animation on the same story, the influence for my short story came from playing role playing games on handheld consoles i like the style used in them and the way the different worlds are set out as you can see in my animation it is heavy fuelled by these sort of games.

If i could get more time to perfect some of the scenes i would tweet the animations to be more crisp and the drawing to be even more detailed to give it an retail game feel to it,the ending is a little boring in my eyes and i would put more detailed cut scenes in to make it more visual for the audience.
The feedback i for my animation was very well received after hosting it on you tube and my facebook page i am very pleased with peoples comments and grateful of them too as they help me to improve on my work.

Over all i am very happy with the way my animation turned out there are a few things i would like to change here and there which i will get round to doing and rehost it to see what people think of the changes, i really enjoyed doing 2D animation even tho it can get very repeatative from time to time and frustrating most the time... but yet after its finished its something to be proud of.

Charater Design

Evil Minion

After designing the king i decided i didn't like him mainly because he didn't have an evil enough feel to him and i just disliked the look of the purple king so i came up with this hooded character which i drew in Flash.

Evil King

After drawing the first copy i thought he was a little to plan to be the main evil king so i made them his minions and advanced the character further to finish with a more evil looking hooded character

Evaluation

Finishing my walkcycle turned out pretty well but a little bit choppy but not notice aboout really thinks i would have liked to do next time would be to do it in a lot more detail but for a first walk cycle i wanted to keep it a bit simple (:
things i would like to try next is different ways of animation to make things easier like look further in to motion tween without it looking to false as motion tween can cause,
my evaluation of using flash for animation is that it is an amazing program and also i like to draw my images in flash too, using the brush gives a very unique look ands feel to the drawing and animations.
The feedback i received for my work was of a high level thanks to everyone who enjoyed my work and helped me with ideas to change and prefect my work in flash.

 All in all think project was successful and a good learning curve for when i come to making my animation and will help me make things quicker with new learned techniques and enjoyed using flash and place to take my work forward using a lot of flash
